Description
Fantastic bright red paprika with a lovely depth of flavour, available as Dulce (sweet) or Picante (spicy), in lovely old-fashioned tins. The brand name, ‘El Ruisenor’, means the Nightingale, which is pictured singing on each tin. In Murcia, paprika peppers are laid out in the sunshine to dry, then the stalks and pith is carefully removed, before the body of the peppers are ground into paprika powder; this is a time-honoured process with its own Denomination of Origin to guarantee its quality.
